Brush Lettering, age 8+

We are so excited to welcome Jen Roffe to the studio! Jen is an incredible brush lettering artist who will guide us step by step helping us to create some amazing pieces. Using a rainbow of colour pigment pens we will explore the art of brush pen lettering and calligraphy: ❤️creating the essential calligraphy brush strokes 🧡experimenting with upper and lower case alphabets 💛mixing colours using different pens to great effect 💗using templates to learn about composition, word hierarchy and blending 💜creating our own brush calligraphy words or quote to take home and pop up in a favourite spot Each student will receive a brush lettering kit, including 3 different coloured brush pens, tips and tricks lettering workbook, example alphabets and word inspiration and plenty of quality practice sheets, as well as their finished pieces - hand lettered onto card.
