COLOUR WOW! Art Camp, age 5+

About this creative session

Colour Wow! Art Camp Children explore the magic of colour, learning about warm and cool tones through hands-on techniques. They'll emboss aluminium foil to create dazzling bugs and butterflies, then add vibrant colour. Using gelli plates, they'll print and watch inks bleed into beautiful patterns to craft a colourful turtle. Finally, they'll experiment tie-dyeing a pair of socks. New for Summer 26! - Add on an extra 1.5 hours to your child's camp day. During this wind down time, we'll be mindful colouring, collaborative free drawing, or using our imaginations to collage and create. Projects during this time will be child-led and connected to the theme or skills used that day. We might be evaluating our artwork or diving into and building on skills acquired during the camp. Whilst we do supply aprons, please can the children wear old clothes and bring a packed lunch and a named water bottle (no nuts or sweets please).
