Learning how to sew is a real life skill. It is mindful and good for the soul! Children will work on a half termly project, with something to take home each half term. Magpie Makes is a local business specialising in stimulating children’s creativity and bringing some extra colour into their lives. We collect the children from HWPS and walk them down to our studio on Claygate Lane. Feel free to pack your child a snack, but please no nuts and no sweets. We won’t be able to accommodate bikes or scooters and children must be able to carry all their own belongings. If you are dropping your child to us, please arrive at 3.30pm. Collection is 4.30pm from the studio. Costs cover all materials, threads, trimmings and use of Magpie Makes equipment. We keep our club numbers small to ensure that everyone gets all the help they need along the way. Our projects are suitable for complete beginners as well as those children with experience. If you are interested in paying in instalments, please email to arrange the details. For your reassurance all Magpie Makes club leaders are DBS checked, first aid trained and have completed a Child Protection course. Total includes £3.50 online transaction fee.
