Spooky Stitches Textiles Day A frighteningly good introduction to textiles for budding designers aged 8 and up. Children create a striking woven Halloween artwork, finished and framed in black card. Then they customise a t-shirt using iron-on vinyl shapes and wild neon paint splatter. Finally, sewing skills take centre stage as they hand and machine sew an appliqué spooky cushion, ghost or pumpkin, to take home. As always, we'll be stitching, creating and giggling! Please can children bring a packed lunch (no nuts, or sweets please) and a named water bottle. Please do do pay with an AMEX card, the fees they charge are crazy!
