graffiti t-shirt design and keyring making*
If you have a future in fashion design then starting by creating your own t-shirt to wear is perfect, and the fabric spray paint we use is really cool. Our graffiti technique uses a shaped stencil which we iron-on to the front of the t-shirt, then we go outdoors to let you spray our colourful fabric paints until, ta-da, you have a t-shirt that is all yours and ready to wear home.
We buy good quality white t-shirts and have a range of sizes in stock so you don’t need to provide your own t-shirts. We also will send washing instructions home so all parents will have care advice. In our experience the fabric paints last really well and colours stay bright.
Additional to the main activity, we will also spend some time making spray can key-rings. Its nice to have a second activity to keep everyone busy and engaged who isn’t in the spray booth and these make fun bag charms to put on your school bag.
*Our graffiti parties involve spray paints and are bookable from March to August due to weather.
details of the day
Party duration – We have 3 party slots on a Saturday which are 2 hours each - 10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm or 4pm-6pm. Our activities are designed to last roughly 1.5 hours leaving half an hour for party food.
Our art studio – We can comfortably accommodate 16 children plus space for Mum and Dad, and we have off-street parking
Party bags – If you’d like party bags supplied we can let you choose from our colourful options.
How to book and pay – Drop an email to suzie@magpiemakes.co.uk and she will help you find a slot in our calendar. We will ask for a deposit to make sure its secured.
The team – Each party is run by two members of our creative team, this varies by activity and availability.
Food – We don’t supply food, but we are happy for you to bring a party spread of your choice or have pizzas delivered.
Kitchen equipment – We have a water jug, cups and cutlery available for use but we don’t keep sharp knives for safety reasons. We suggest you bring one with you along with matches if you have candles to light.
Balloons and decorations – We have colourful and cute party decs up when we’re hosting a party. Please do bring balloons if you would like to.
Younger siblings or friends – Our parties are age directed for a reason so if anyone younger is wanting to join in please do run it past us first as we can advise if that activity will be accessible to them. We don’t want anyone finding things too difficult.
